More Training! New Workshops!You asked for it, you got it! In response to popular demand from past conference attendees, we’ve beefed up our Training and Workshop offerings for 2010, and all at no additional charge! Mark your calendars for Thursday, February 25th!
In addition to the annual EA_MS (EnergyAxis MAS) training, there will be hands-on workshops on analyzing WAN options, gatekeeper (collector) site selection and installation, network troubleshooting, outage management, gas module installation, and more! These are interactive, hands-on sessions with plenty of opportunity for Q&A with the experts.
Plan to stay through Thursday to take advantage of an intense half-day of in-depth information that can make a difference in your utility. Thursday sessions will start at 8:00am and will conclude at 1:00pm. Box lunches will be available to make it easier to catch your flight.

Workshop on site selection and installation for non-meter gatekeepers and repeaters to solve challenges with gas or water only areas, or rural applications. Some of the new features and performance characteristics of EnergyAxis 7.0 require newer versions of hardware to operate as designed. If you have a significant quantity of REX meters deployed, this workshop will help you understand how to best make the transition. The workshop will examine mixed mode operation with regard to speeds, security, and how to maximize the value and performance of existing equipment while taking advantage of new capabilities enabled by hardware advances.
